This is my brother's motel - I finally got to visit last week and it was wonderful! Nice budget rooms, and I loved that there's a fenced dog yard (not just a dinky 10ftx10ft potty area - you can really let your dog(s) go zoomies!). Owner-operated, living on site. Mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee machine in room, plus fixings to make coffee. And the memory foam mattress was amazing - I slept really well!
This is the best motel in Texas. I love older route 66 style motels where you drive up to your door. It's hit or miss every time I find a new one... and this one is by far my favorite in all of Texas. The owners are amazing, rooms are always clean, and have the best mattresses (I travel for work, and the mattresses here are better than anywhere else I've stayed) They are very pet friendly, quite and the best deal in town. Affordable and welcoming. I hesitated writing this review for selfish reasons. I always stay here even when I'm just passing through. I'm disappointed when they are booked. Canadian is a great little town, and this motel is my Texas home away from home.
Older hotel. But quiet and good little hotel. Has small fenced dog park on site for dogs. Owners are very friendly and would stay here again.
Great attention to details for a change!! Older but as modern. Doog park and dogs stay free. Owners have a pair of lager dogs that are friendly. Beds were great memory foam and made me feel great in the morning. Tinted windows in a hotel keeps the light from the morning sunshine from coming in. Great idea will come back when I can. Great town too. Everyone was supper nice
Everything about our stay was ideal. Check in was easy, and the owners are very friendly and personable. The rooms all have new, extremely comfortable, memory foam mattresses. The shower curtain was also new. The heater, fridge, fan, and microwave all work well. The floors were spotless. The blackout curtains work so well that we slept in until 10. It was very restful. There is trailer parking available, and the owners are in the process of renovating everything they haven't replaced yet. Also, the price was great!
A wonderful little motel. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff was friendly. The little dog park was perfect for my pup to run around in. And no pet fee was very nice. Would definitely stay there again if I ever go through this area in the future.
Great little place. New owners are remodeling a 1970's area, and things look good! Rooms are large and accommodated my mom's walker just fine. Beds were super comfy! Lots of steaming hot water too! Highly recommend!!
Great place, comfortable beds, VERY pet friendly, great rates...hard floors in the rooms I've been in, which is a plus with 3 elderly dogs with issues, smoking rooms available. Plus a great cast iron (cookware and campware) collection, with some for sale upon request
